Chris was raised in an extremely violent household and was beaten regularly by his dad as well as his brothers. His oldest brother is in jail for rape, and Chris is treated horribly by his town because of his family reputation. Chris isn't abusive/horrible like his family, but he is shaped largely by them and those subjects do come up every now and then. Chris himself is offended by the poor treatment of people who don't deserve it, so he can get pretty high and mighty if he thinks someone is being hurt unreasonably.

Also his canon is literally about finding a kid's dead body so like. That's the tea, sis. Underage smoking, drinking, guns, bullying, and domestic abuse will likely be reoccurred mentions.
